Emmy Plante is a member of Driftpile Cree Nation and the founder of Nehiyaw Entertainment, a First Nation owned event production and entertainment company.
With over 17 years of experience in live events, entertainment, and large scale productions, Emmy has worked extensively with major production companies, artists, and venues across Alberta, including long standing experience within professional concert and event environments.
For more than eight years, Emmy has served as a Production Manager at River Cree Resort and Casino in partnership with Enoch Cree Nation. In this role, she has supported and led concerts, festivals, community celebrations, markets, and large public events. Her work regularly involves coordinating artists, vendors, sponsors, production teams, and venue operations in fast paced, high responsibility environments.
Emmy is known for her ability to bridge First Nation communities with venues and corporate partners, ensuring events are delivered with professionalism, cultural respect, and accountability. Her approach is rooted in lived experience, strong relationships, and a deep understanding of both community expectations and industry standards.
